Roadmap

Introduction

Warren Snow of Snow Woodworks is rebuilding his reputation as a maker of high-end custom furniture in the Washington D.C. / Virginia area.

The Problem

Warren became known for large complex installations such as built-in bookcases and walk-in closets. This often meant he had to sacrifice time and resources he'd rather dedicate to smaller, more fulfilling projects.

The Solution

Working together over a span of a few months, Warren and I met 2 hours a week to complete a strategy workshop identifying his unique selling points and target audience which gave him the confidence to promote himself differently using his own voice.

Three months after our strategy workshop, Warren was completely booked with new furniture projects for the rest of the fiscal year.

That's six full months of new work!

Who is Warren Snow?

Warren is a gracious, reserved, practical, and enthusiastic Air Force veteran. He is highly-skilled, respectful, patient, and knowledgable. He approaches each project with a spark of possibility.

What makes Warren stand out?

Warren is the only woodworker that makes one-of-a-kind furniture for people who want statement pieces to enhance the beauty of their homes when most retailers offer cookie-cutter collections.

Everything Warren does is tailored to your home to make it a better place to be.

Who is Warren's 'ideal customer'?

For the sake of humanizing a group of people in his area, we agreed on calling his ideal customer Cindy, "the polite socialite."

Snow Woodworks' ideal customer Cindy

What motivates her?

Cindy wants the things in her home to tell a story and feel uniquely personal to her own life experiences. She has trouble communicating her ideas because she believes she doesn’t have a natural “eye” for interior design. Therefore, her tough inner critic isn’t satisfied until she sees what she likes.

Snow Woodworks values great service by listening to customer concerns ensuring both timeline and expectations for any project are met with a collaborative process in mind. We want the Cindy's of the world to visualize the final outcome as accurately as possible without any mystery or surprises.
